Lynn Hawkins thinks he is one of the first “ole guys” with Rebuilding Generations. His dad was a car guy and Lynn grew up interested in cars. In 1972 Lynn became interested in english cars and purchased his 1965 Morgan four seater as a family sports car. It has been faithful for forty-three years. Lynn got involved with youth programs through his children and wanted to influence them and their friends for Christ. When Kevin Keep mentioned the idea of putting old men with the youth to bridge the “generation gap” Lynn decided to help. Hopefully some of his life experience and walk with Christ will be passed on to the young people through Rebuilding Generations. He is 74 and still trucking. He did a ground up rebuild of his Morgan over a four year period and is enjoying being in the program with his grandson Dylan.
